An Iterative Method for Solving the Inverse Problem in Electrocardiography in Normal and Fibrillation Conditions: A Simulation Study
نویسنده
چکیده
Electrocardiographic Imaging (ECGI) is a new imaging technique that noninvasively images cardiac electrical activity on the heart surface. In ECGI, a multielectrode vest is used to record the body surface potential maps (BSPMs). Then, using geometrical information from CT-scans and a mathematical algorithm we construct the electrical potentials on the heart surface. The reconstruction of cardiac activity from BSPMs is an ill-posed problem. Some algorithms work well in sinus rhythm, but in arrhythmic conditions the reconstruction of the heart potential becomes worse. In this work we present an iterative mathematical approach based on domain decomposition methods and test it on synthetically generated data for normal and fibrillating heart conditions using anatomical 43 years old women geometry.

An iterative method for the Hermitian-generalized Hamiltonian solutions to the inverse problem AX=B with a submatrix constraint
In this paper, an iterative method is proposed for solving the matrix inverse problem $AX=B$ for Hermitian-generalized Hamiltonian matrices with a submatrix constraint. By this iterative method, for any initial matrix $A_0$, a solution $A^*$ can be obtained in finite iteration steps in the absence of roundoff errors, and the solution with least norm can be obtained by choosing a special kind of...

In this paper, we propose a technique for determining a source term in an inverse heat conduction problem (IHCP) using Radial Basis Functions (RBFs). Because of being very suitable instruments, the RBFs have been applied for solving Partial Dierential Equations (PDEs) by some researchers. In the current study, a stable meshless method will be pro- posed for solving an (I...

In this paper, we develop some stationary iterative schemes in block forms for solving double saddle point problem. To this end, we first generalize the Jacobi iterative method and study its convergence under certain condition. Moreover, using a relaxation parameter, the weighted version of the Jacobi method together with its convergence analysis are considered. Furthermore, we extend a method...

In this paper a mathematical simulation of a simplified internal combustion engine is presented. The uniqueness of the solution was studied in the Banach space. For solving governing equations an iterative numerica...

In this paper, we will use a modified variational iteration method (MVIM) for solving an inverse heat conduction problem (IHCP). The approximation of the temperature and the heat flux at are considered. This method is based on the use of Lagrange multipliers for the identification of optimal values of parameters in a functional in Euclidian space. Applying this technique, a rapid convergent s...
